🏖100% Remote

💰 Hourly rate

HOURS:

⏱ 5 hours a week on average (with opportunity to increase)

DETAILS:

📬 You’ll work with and report directly to our founder, Daniela Cervantes, and will be primarily involved in the following aspects of the business: original Squarespace website design + client communication

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for creating original and custom websites and graphics for WanderSouls Creative and its clients

  • Works directly with WanderSouls Creative clients via Asana, our project management tool

  • Designs and implements WanderSouls Creative website templates

  • Edits & maintains WanderSouls Creative website (e.g. updating portfolio page)

  • Creates graphics for social media & blog posts

  • Completes all other creative tasks that may be assigned

  • BONUS: Writes & creates helpful blog posts on website design and Squarespace

  • BONUS: Feels confident creating Squarespace training/tutorial videos (screen only + voice)

  • Squarespace 7.1 & 7.0

  • Canva

  • BONUS: CSS knowledge

SKILLS

  • Creative and innovative website design

  • Able to analyze project description + website inspiration and turn them into designs that solve client’s problems and look beautiful

  • Ability to design in various styles

  • Great customer service and client relations

  • Understanding of basic SEO principals

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Passion about website design - You maintain knowledge of design trends and techniques. You want to improve your own skills and push the boundaries of the project creatively. You try new approaches and tools when doing so will help the end result for the client.

  • Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines - You never miss a deadline, no matter what. You can turn around a project quickly without losing quality or creativity. You love a schedule and work well with a due date.

  • Excellent communication & endless patience - You know how to respond to client inquiries with kind explanations, are willing to teach clients in simple terms, and you understand that there are often many revisions per project and don’t take it personally.

  • Organized and detail-oriented - You can keep track of several projects and clients at once, without losing the details. You notice when something needs to be addressed and take action. You are self-managing.

  • You deeply believe in our mission - You love the idea of helping and supporting passionate women in their entrepreneurial journey through building their own website!

  • You both appreciate and are responsible with freedom and autonomy. You love the ability to work from anywhere and enjoy having an extremely high degree of freedom in both your schedule and the way you work. You’re a natural go-getter who is incredibly self-disciplined to still be on top of your projects, deadlines and communications with the rest of the team, no matter where you’re working from.
